The standard notice period

UAE Labour Law requires a notice period of between 30 and 90 days, as specified in your employment contract โ€” most contracts set 30 or 60 days.

Pay in lieu of notice

If either party ends the contract without the full notice period being worked, the other party is generally entitled to compensation equal to the employee's wage for the unworked portion of the notice period โ€” calculated as daily wage ร— remaining notice days.
